Tragedy struck for a church in Kansas. According to a local Fox affiliate, three people died and at least 10 others were injured when a van from Faith Chapel Assembly of God crashed on Friday morning.
They were traveling in Missouri heading to a float trip when the accident happened. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the van left the southbound lanes of the highway and overturned.
Everyone in the van was injured. According to the church, three of the teens traveling the van died. The highway patrol also says three teenagers died, but haven’t identified them by name.
They’re a 16-year-old boy from Olathe, a 14-year-old girl from Louisburg and a 17-year-old girl from Stilwell. There were two adults on the bus; everyone else was a minor.
While it's not clear what caused the crash, early indications seem to lay blame on a tire blowout.
Three others have serious injuries and seven others have injuries they’re expected to recover from.
Please pray for the safe recovery of everyone injured. Please also pray for the family, friends, and community on the diseased. This is a terrible and unexpected accident.
