“Power Rangers” fans are in mourning after one of the most famous rangers of all time has died. Pua Magasiva, who played Red Wing Ranger Shane Clarke in 2003’s “Power Rangers Ninja Storm,” was found unresponsive in his New Zealand home on Saturday, reported CNN. He was only 38 years old at the time of his death.
Magasiva is also very well known for his starring soap opera role in “Shortland Street.” He played the character of Nurse Vinnie Kruse from 2003-2006 and 2011-2018.
The cause of death has not been released as of Friday evening. However, according to Fox News, local police confirmed that there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
"We are all absolutely devastated at the tragic news regarding Pua Magasiva," the soap's production company said in a statement.
"Pua was a much loved member of the South Pacific Pictures' family for many years and our hearts and thoughts go out to Pua's family at this time," the company added.
