Popular Product Issues Recall After Throttle Switch Fails, Causing Crashes

One of the most popular outdoor activities for people seeking adventure is causing some users to worry. Polaris, the makers of off road ATV vehicles, has just announced a major recall.

The company says that a throttle release switch that can fail, posing a crash hazard. Owners are urged to contact their local dealer for a complimentary repair.


“The recall involves all model year 2014 – 2017 Scrambler XP 1000 all-terrain vehicles. The Consumer Product Safety Commission says Polaris has received nine reports of the throttle release switch failing and two reports of minor injuries,” wrote one news outlet.


All users of the vehicles should immediately stop use until they check their products. It is not worth the risk to try and use the ATV and then have something go horribly wrong!
