Pooh Shiesty, rapper, was sentenced to more that 5 years in prison.
Shiesty pleaded guilty in January to one federal charge of conspiracy for possessing a firearm in support of violent and drug-trafficking crime. These charges stem from an October 2020 robbery in which two men were wounded and shot. Shiesty is believed have been involved with the armed robbery.
One victim said that Shiesty was the one who sold him shoes from the Air Jordan 4 line. According to police reports, the second victim stated that he met with Shiesty to sell him marijuana and to get a payment for the lime green McClaren that they rented to him.
According to the attorney for the rapper, he is happy with the sentence.
“Listen, nobody wants to go to prison. But he was happy that the judge listened and took the argument seriously. “He was satisfied with the outcome,” Bradford Cohen said to Rolling Stone. “We are happy with the court’s decision.”
