Police Responding to Shooting at California Business, Multiple People Down

We're receiving reports of a shooting inside a business in Long Beach, California. The shooting occurred around 5:30 p.m. Eastern, and police have responded.

According to the Los Angeles Times, multiple people have been shot. Injuries have been reported but no deaths at this time.



The Press-Telegram says the address of the shooting matches the law offices of Larry H. Parker and John A. Mendoza, and witnesses are backing that up. Parker is a very well-known auto accident attorney in the Los Angeles and Orange County area. 

Many emergency vehicles have responded to the scene and are also surrounding the W.A. Rasic Construction and Latino Health Care building next door at the corner of San Antonio Drive and Long Beach Boulevard.


The shooting is no longer active. According to ABC 7, the suspect is no longer a threat, and police say they did not shoot him. The motive and condition of the shooter are unknown.
