Police Make Huge Announcement About Missing Salt Lake Woman, They Have the Last Known Person Texting Her

According to reports, the parents of Mackenzie Lueck reported their daughter missing on Thursday afternoon, according to FOX 13. She had returned to Salt Lake where she was attending college. Lueck texted her parents at about 1 a.m. Monday morning from the Salt Lake City International Airport to let them know she arrived from California.

Mackenzie allegedly took a ride from a Lyft driver that she had ordered. The driver took her to a park where she got out, loaded her bags into an unknown car with another individual. It was the last time she has been seen.

"The investigation has not discovered any information that would lead us to believe that Mackenzie has been harmed or is in danger at this time,” police said, adding that “detectives are concerned for Mackenzie’s welfare” and ask anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact Salt Lake City Police at 801-799-3000 and reference case No. 19-111129," according to reports.

This week, some disturbing details are being reported that may offer insight into her whereabouts. According to reports, Mackenzie also had online dating profiles that allegedly said she was seeking a mutually beneficial relationship with wealthy older men. An image has been posted that appears to show a post on social media that Mackenzie made discussing how to get these kinds of relationships.

“Mine says ‘I want a SD/SB relationship with a real connection.’ If don’t know what a SD/SB is, tell them bluntly sugar daddy and sugar baby. But if they don’t know, they aren’t really worth your time. Set (your) age preference from 35+. You’ll have the most luck there. Private message me, if you have more questions! I have experience.”

While the news is disturbing, it has not officially been confirmed. However, officials are looking into all possible leads at this time.

"Salt Lake City Police investigators at their Tuesday afternoon news conference acknowledged they were aware of the online dating leads and were also looking into them," according to reports.

"The University of Utah student who disappeared after ordering a Lyft and being dropped off at a local park last week was texting someone before she went missing, police in Salt Lake City told Fox News exclusively, saying they have surveillance video and a digital trail to prove it," according to reports.

At this time, they have not released the identity of that individual or said how the two people know one another.

"The revelation came one day after police released images from the “last known footage” of Lueck taken from surveillance cameras at Salt Lake City International Airport. The images showed her at the airport between 2:09 and 2:40 a.m. June 17, about twenty minutes before a Lyft driver dropped her off at Hatch Park in North Salt Lake, police said," according to Fox.

Now, officials have dropped a massive announcement in the case. They have confirmed that they are aware of the last known person to be texting Mackenzie on the night she disappeared. They say that person is cooperating with the investigation.

Investigators are still actively working the case. Please join us in praying for them and for Mackenzie's safe return.
