At an abandoned Burger King in San Marcos, Texas, authorities uncovered something more than just your usual Whopper. They found a major crime.

According to KSAT 12, police initially responded to a call about a suspicious person when they discovered a backpack filled with supplies to make meth. They were at a homeless camp behind a Burger King.

Inside the bag were several containers, one of which contained an acidic powder so potent that it burned one of the officers.

They realized that they had discovered materials for “the makings of a clandestine methamphetamine laboratory.”

They went inside the Burger King and discovered the meth lab. Later, a Hazmat crew sanitized the area and disposed of the toxic chemicals.
