Police Department Reaches Out To Black Lives Matter, They Respond In The Most Horrible Way Possible

After a successful and fruitful barbeque in Wichita, Kansas in which the police and members of ‘Black Lives Matter’ came together in the name of community building and repairing fractured relationships, another police department tried to reach out to their community.

The police department in Oakland, California found hope in the actions of their brothers in blue and according to Breitbart they set out to repair ties within their own community. The Oakland police department reached out to the local Black Lives Matter group in the hopes that they could open a dialogue over some food and fun.

Instead of taking the opportunity to voice their concerns with the police in a civil manner, a BLM spokesperson lashed out at the police. “A BBQ is definitely not going to stop this blockade,” Karissa Lewis told Fox. “And as a radical black farmer from East Oakland, I eat pigs, I don’t eat with them.”

Despite the vile rejection, the Oakland police department says that they will continue trying to reach out to the community and show them that they are not the problem.
