A man has just been arrested in connection with numerous heinous crimes. According to officials, a suspect has just been brought into custody for murdering 43 student teachers over three years ago.

"The suspect, identified as Erick Uriel 'N,' is a member of the Guerreros Unidos drug cartel, and 'is identified in the investigation as one of those who played a decisive role' in the students' disappearance in the southern city of Iguala," prosecution official Alfredo Higuera said during a press conference.

Erick N, a prominent member of a notorious Mexican gang, is now in custody. The Mexican government had previously issued a bounty for Erick of 1.5 million pesos.

An initial investigation had found that the victims were abducted by corrupt police who handed them over to members of a local drug cartel, who then killed them, incinerated their bodies at a trash dump and threw the ashes into a river, according to Reuters.

While the case made headlines across the globe, some people question the accuracy of the investigation and the claim that 43 teachers were indeed murdered. The case comes in the midst of a drug cartel revolution that is rocking Mexico.

Please join us in praying for the families of the victims. We ask that God's mercy surround them during this horrible time. May He comfort them in their tragedy.
