Police Arrest 19 People in Connection to Beheadings of Scandinavian Hikers

December 27, 2018Dec 27, 2018

One of the most gruesome and chilling murder stories in decades has recently made headlines around the globe. A pair of Scandinavian hikers were beheaded by terrorists while hiking in Morocco. Now, police have made some major breakthroughs in the terrible and heartbreaking murder case.

"A Moroccan government spokesman says 10 new suspects were arrested over the last two days for their links with the alleged killers of 24-year-old Louisa Vesterager Jespersen of Denmark and 28-year-old Maren Ueland of Norway," Fox News reported.

This brings the total number of people arrested for the murders to 19. More individuals could possibly be arrested as well. We continue to pray for the families of the two young women who died in this senseless act of violence.

"The alleged ringleader of the horrific murders, Abdessamad Ejjoud, 25, was arrested Tuesday. Abdelhak Khiam, the head of the country's central office for judicial investigation, told Agence France-Presse that Ejjoud had 'formed a kind of cell that discussed how to carry out a terrorist act inside the kingdom, targeting the security services or foreign tourists,'" reports have stated.

The women were discovered on December 17th, just days before Christmas. They were coming in a remote part of the Atlas Mountains when they were stabbed multiple times and decapitated. Please join us in praying for an end to terror around the globe.
