Will Johnny Depp Return for Pirates 6?
The most important unanswered question regarding a new product is PiratesThe installment is either Johnny DeppWill reprise his role as Captain Jack Sparrow. A rep for Oscar nominee denied rumors that the actor would reprise his iconic role for $300 million in June 2022.

PiratesProducer Jerry BruckheimerDepp, for his part has said that there are no plans for him to return for another film. It would have been Jack Sparrow’s last appearance as Jack Sparrow if Depp had appeared in a sixth movie.
Even before the op-ed, however, Disney’s production chief Sean BaileyIn 2018, he suggested that the sixth movie might have taken a Sparrow-less turn. When asked if the series would survive without its most famous cast member, he replied that the franchise needed a “new energy.”
While the franchise has brought in more than $4.5 Billion, there are signs that audiences are losing interest. The first installment. Who Is Writing? Pirates 6?
As of June 2020 Pirates 6 was being written by Craig MazinAnd Ted ElliotWho has been replaced by? DeadpoolWriters Rhett ReeseAnd Paul Wernick. The latter two were hired in 2018, before they left in 2019.
Elliot is a veteran in the Pirates franchise, having written 2003’s The Curse of the Black PearlTogether with his writing partner, he wrote the next three sequels. Terry Rossio.
Mazin, for his own part, wrote The HangoverFilmsScary MovieHe also created the Emmy-winning HBO drama Chernobyl.
What Is Margot Robbie’s Pirates Movie?
Bruckheimer also stated that two different versions of the same thing were made public. PiratesFilms are being created that follow the action of Stories from Dead Men are not told by Dead Men(The Mazin/Elliot projects) and one which stars Margot Robbie.

With the Robbie-centric film’s connection to the series unclear and Depp seemingly banished, there’s no concrete information about how other casting may play out. Kaya ScodelarioCarina Barbossa played by? Stories from Dead Men are not told by Dead Men, has said she’s contractually obligated for one more sequel, but it’s unknown if Disney plans to move forward in the same direction.
Beyond that, Bill NighyHe said that he is open to reprising his role as Davy Jones, the villain who appeared in Dead Man’s ChestAnd At World’s End. Lee ArenbergAnother cast member is a former pirate Pintel, who expressed an interest in returning.
Who’s Directing Pirates 6?
Joachim Rønning is set to return to the director’s chair for the Mazin/Elliot film. He was the director of the last film. PiratesFilm with Espen SandbergThe sixth film will not be made without the involvement of a sixth actor.
