The devastating news was reported on Friday, November 30, that former U.S. President George H.W. Bush has passed away. He was 94 years old at the time of his death. 

George H.W. Bush served as the 41st president of the United States. He passed away just months after his beloved wife, Barbara Bush, left this world. Following the news of his death, thousands of people took to social media to thank him for his life of public service. 

Now, a heartbreaking photo has circulated the Internet. The photo is of Bush's beloved service dog. The dog, Sully, was by Bush's side throughout significant moments of his life. Now, following his death, Sully has still remained by Bush's side. 

The photo shows George H.W. Bush's casket covered by the U.S. flag. Sully is sitting near the casket. The manager of the dog's official social media account, @sullyhwbush, originally posted the photo with the caption, "Mission complete."

The photo went viral, with thousands of people commenting on it and sharing it. It touched the hearts of many, especially those who own pets or service animals of their own. 

On Monday morning, another special photo was posted including Sully. The photo was of Bush's friends and family, with Sully trailing close behind.

According to reports, Sully's new job will be to help wounded veterans.
