Tragic Accident Claims Life of 1 Person on TV Set, Prayers Needed

On Monday, December 10, a tragedy took place on the set of a TV show in Brooklyn. According to reports, 63-year-old Pedro Jimenez was killed on early Monday morning as he was setting up cones for the set of "Power."

According to NBC, the production crew member was struck by a 2006 Ford Explorer. Sadly, he was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

Famous rapper 50 Cent, one of the stars and producers of the show, talked about the horrible tragedy on social media.

He wrote, "I just learned we lost Pedro Jimenez, a member of the Power production team early this morning. My prayers and condolences are with the entire family."

Omari Hardwick, another star, posted a heartfelt message as well. 

Part of his post said, "On this 'just another workday,' we all were &  are faced with the harshest realities that a wife has lost her husband, children their father & friends...their beautiful hardworking GRACIOUS Pedro."

Naturi Naughton wrote, "Truly shocked and saddened! Losing one of our own really hit home today! Tomorrow is not promised y'all! Live fully today! My thoughts and prayers are with the Jiminez family! #speechless #prayersUP."

NBC reported that from above, the SUV appeared to have smashed into the rear of another. The aerial footage also showed orange cones scattered around or squished under the vehicles.
