Paul Wesley took an attention-grabbing method to his chemistry learn with Nina Dobrev for The Vampire Diaries — which included him ignoring his potential costar earlier than the audition.

Whereas reflecting on the present’s legacy up to now, Dobrev shocked followers when she mentioned her preliminary pressure with Wesley.

“Paul and I didn’t get alongside initially of the present. I revered Paul Wesley, I didn’t like Paul Wesley,” she recalled on a 2019 episode of the “Directionally Challenged” podcast, which was hosted by former costars Candice King and Kayla Ewell. “I bear in mind everybody would stroll as much as me after the present aired and so they’d be like, ‘Are you and Paul relationship in actual life?’ Everybody thought that we had such good chemistry.
