The New England Patriots clinched the Super Bowl Championship title on Sunday, February 3rd in what many are referring to as the “most boring Super Bowl ever.” Super Bowl LIII was the lowest scoring Super Bowl in history — 13 to 3 — and also the lowest-rated one in a decade.

Following the Patriots’ win, the public has been awaiting confirmation of their White House visit. The championship team has visited the White House in the past including under President Donald Trump in 2017, but star quarterback Tom Brady did not attend that year for “personal reasons.”

Although word of Brady’s attendance is still unknown as of Monday, February 4th, one Patriots player already assured he will not visit the White House if his team decides to go to Washington, DC. Football safety Duron Harmon, 28, praised former president Barack Obama instead.

In a short interview with TMZ, Harmon said, “They don’t want me in the White House,” appearing to reference the Trump administration.

“That would be dope [to meet Obama],” he added. “Obama, holla at me man. We love you over here.”
