Patel remains ‘committed’ to the Rwanda policy

In a press release to the Home of Commons, residence secretary Priti Patel instructed MPs that she stays “dedicated” to the coverage to fly asylum seekers to Rwanda after they illegally enter the UK regardless of the European Courtroom of Human Rights halting the flight.

Labour’s Yvette Cooper accused the house secretary of realizing “she didn’t have a correct screening course of” and that she knew “there is perhaps kids”. 

Patel disagreed with this evaluation, reminding MPs that asylum seekers come from France which is “a protected nation”.
