Legendary rockstar Ozzy Osbourne, 70 years old, was recently hospitalized after suffering complications from the flu. His wife, Sharon Osbourne, confirmed the unfortunate news via social media on February 6th, 2019.
This comes shortly after he was hospitalized in 2018 for a near-fatal staph infection. As previously reported, the Prince of Darkness was forced to cancel his music tour over his recent illnesses.
A major update was released on Osbourne on February 12th, reported PEOPLE. According to his wife, he is now doing “great.”
“He’s out of ICU and he’s doing great. He’s breathing on his own,” Mrs. Osbourne said.
“I just want to say a huge thank you to everybody that has reached out with good wishes. He is overcome by the response that he’s had, and it’s kind of bittersweet because he’s overwhelmed with it, but he’s sad too,” she added.
