Stokes’ outing with Metz appears to put to rest rumors of a romantic reconciliation between him and ex-girlfriend Madelyn Cline.
The former couple — who play love interests on Outer Banks — first sparked dating speculation in April 2020, but they didn’t officially confirm their relationship until that June. Though they split over a year later in November 2021, fans were hopeful that the two would get back together … especially when the Maryland native hinted as much to UseOne month later.
“She’s one of my favorite people on planet Earth,” Stokes told UseIn December 2021, he spoke out about his relationship to Cline, 24, “You know, it’s super awesome to work with somebody that you care about that much, and yeah, I’ll leave it at that.”
Reconciliation rumors only intensified when Stokes shared his first look at it in February. Outer Banks’ upcoming season 3.
