Olivia Newton-John, most famous for her role in Grease, opened up about her cancer diagnosis and how she's dealing with the symptoms. According to Entertainment Tonight, the singer and actress spoke to Australia's 60 Minutes about the “agonizing” pain.

This Newton-John's second battle with cancer. Doctors diagnosed her with breast cancer in 1992. At the time, she underwent chemotherapy, a partial mastectomy, and reconstructive surgery.

In May of this real, she revealed that what she thought was back pain was in fact breast cancer that had spread to her lower spine. Just a few weeks ago, that cancer left her unable to walk.

“I can walk, but I can't go long distances,” Newton-John told the interviewer. “But I'll get there, because I couldn't walk at all a month or so ago. As I heal I'll be able to walk more.”

She also shared that the diagnosis made her life "skid to a very quick halt." Nevertheless, she's determined to get through her second battle with the destructive disease.

“I have lots to do, but of course, it's scary. I'd be lying if I said it wasn't scary. It was, but I felt very sure that I would get through.”

Newton-John is using a controversial method to control her pain. She has been using Marijuana that her husband grows.

“The pain level was really the hardest thing,” said the actress. “I was trying to do shows and it was pretty agonizing.”

While she says it was difficult telling her husband and her daughter about her cancer relapse, Newton-John is in good spirits. She's approaching her relapse with a positive frame of mind.

“It's probably something I'll deal with the rest of my life,” she said. “But I will and I'll be fine and there have been a lot of women, who have had reoccurrences, and continue on with their lives to be old ladies. That's my vision.”

She also says she's not spending time feeling sorry for herself. She's very happy with the life she has lived.

“I've had and I'm having an amazing life,” she said. “So I have no complaints. I really don't ... everyone goes through something. We all have something we need to go through in life and this has been my challenge.”
