On November 27th, 33-year-old Prince Harry and 36-year-old American actress Meghan Markle announced their engagement. The happy couple met in Summer of 2016 through a mutual friend and have been inseparable ever since.

Harry, who publicly noted that he knew Meghan was “the one” from the first time they met, is ecstatic to call her his wife. He unexpectedly proposed to his then-girlfriend over a romantic dinner at home, and of course, she said “yes!”

Later it was revealed that the two would wed at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle in May of 2018 for their traditional and royal, “happy church wedding.”

On Friday, December 15th, an official wedding date was revealed. They will say their “I do’s” on May 19th of next year, according to sources.

The wedding will take place shortly after Harry’s brother and sister-in-law, Prince William and Princess Kate, have their third child. Kate is due sometime in April.

Recently, Ms, Markle also made nationwide headlines for being involved in the Royal family’s extravagant winter holiday traditions. Typically, only official Royal family members are invited for Christmas, but she is an exception.

Congratulations to the Royal couple!
