An official death certificate has been released for actor Luke Perry. Perry's certificate didn't contain any surprises; it confirmed that he died of a massive stroke.

The certificate also revealed that he's been laid to rest. He was buried in Dixon, Tennessee, reported TMZ.

He lived in Tennessee part-time. He owned a farm there that he bought in 1995.

The document was released Wednesday, and it lists his cause of death as an "ischemic cerebrovascular accident." He had the stroke 5 days before his death at 12:44 PM on Monday, March 4.

The death certificate lists Luke's fiancee, Wendy Bauer, as his next of kin. He was buried on March 11.

On Monday, it was also revealed that Perry and Bauer had already sent out save the dates for their wedding. They were planning a summer wedding.

The couple was set to tie the knot in Summer 2019. Their save the dates asked people to celebrate with them on August 17, reported TMZ.

The card doesn't reveal any other details about their planned nuptials. It simply says that a formal invite would follow.

The save the date did hint at the theme of the wedding. It was gray and gold with a Niave Inline-type font. It evoked a very Old Hollywood, Great Gatsby-esque vibe.

Bauer spoke out for the first time since Perry's passing over the weekend. She thanked people for their support of her since Perry's passing.

She said, "The past 11½ years with Luke were the happiest years of my life, and I am grateful to have had that time with him,” she continues, “I also want to thank his children, family, and friends for their love and support. We have found comfort in one another and in the knowledge that our lives were touched by an extraordinary man. He will be dearly missed."

Our sincere condolences to Bauer and all of Perry's family. Please pray for peace and comfort for the family.
