Recently, a lot of people have been concerned with what President Trump plans to do with regards to DACA. The Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program is strongly supported by people who want to see leniency given to immigrants who came to America as juveniles.

However, Barack Obama just announced what he is going to do if President Trump ends DACA. According to reports, Obama plans to publicly get involved and speak out against President Trump’s actions, a controversial move for a former president.

“Former President Barack Obama plans to speak out if President Donald Trump declares his intention to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, according to a person close to Obama,” according to Politico.

So far, expectations are focused on President Trump’s announcement this Tuesday concerning the program. Many people expect President Trump to announce he is going to terminate DACA in roughly six months.

Trump is expected to announce on Tuesday that in six months he will terminate the Obama-era DACA initiative, which grants two-year work permits to undocumented immigrants who came to the U.S. as children and stayed out of trouble. POLITICO first reported the news.

The move would be met with harsh resistance by the left. At a time when the nation is at an all time high with regards to division, it is truly anyone’s guess what could happen if President Trump makes the announcement.
