North Carolina Gov. Gives SLAM DUNK Response To NBA After It Pulls All-Star Game

Earlier today, the NBA announced they were removing the planned 2017 All-Star Game out of Charlotte, North Carolina and scheduling it for a different state in protest of North Carolina's law clarifying that people must use the public restrooms that match their biological sex.

According to Yahoo Sports, a statement from the league read, “Our week-long schedule of All-Star events and activities is intended to be a global celebration of basketball, our league, and the values for which we stand, and to bring together all members of the NBA community — current and former players, league and team officials, business partners, and fans.”

Gov. Pat McCrory, who has not backed down from the law despite numerous cases of lost business, fired back with an epic, hard-hitting response.

According the governor's website, McCrory released a statement rebuking the NBA decision makers for going against common sense, reminding them of how many other states agree with North Carolina's bathroom law, pointing out that the majority of parents want to protect their kids' privacy and safety, and exposing the liberal agenda behind all of this.

Here it is:

“The sports and entertainment elite, Attorney General Roy Cooper and the liberal media have for months misrepresented our laws and maligned the people of North Carolina simply because most people believe boys and girls should be able to use school bathrooms, locker rooms and showers without the opposite sex present. Twenty-one other states have joined North Carolina to challenge the federal overreach by the Obama administration mandating their bathroom policies in all businesses and schools instead of allowing accommodations for unique circumstances. Left-wing special interest groups have no moral authority to try and intimidate the large majority of American parents who agree in common-sense bathroom and shower privacy for our children. American families should be on notice that the selective corporate elite are imposing their political will on communities in which they do business, thus bypassing the democratic and legal process.”

Woohoo! What do you think of this?
