The NFL anthem controversy has captivated the entire nation. Any people credit Colin Kaepernick for starting the protests where players kneel during the anthem. Colin has been open about the movement and claims that kneeling during anthem is his way of bringing attention to police brutality in America.
However, not all players feel the same way. Many of them are patriotic and are very thankful for the freedoms we have in our great nation. One such player is James Kittle.
"Kittle is a tight end for the San Francisco 49ers. Absent quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, who was injured in the season’s first game, the 49ers have racked up a dismal 2-8 record. One of the bright spots, however, has been Kittle, a 25-year-old University of Iowa graduate who’s slowly become a go-to target in San Francisco’s offense," reported the Conservative Tribune.
Ironically, Kittle plays for the same team that Colin once played for as well. However, before Thursday's game, Kittle was spotted on the field doing something remarkable. He was shaking the hands of each and every service member who had showed up for the pregame anthem festivities.
"It was, of course, Veteran’s Day weekend and NFL teams found various ways to commemorate. The 49ers had a line of men and women who are serving or have served our country in the armed forces. That was cool enough, but Kittle made sure that he honored each and every one of them with a handshake," according to Conservative Tribune.
Many people went wild on social media after watching Kittle shake the hands of the military members. Lots of patriotic citizens praised him for his wonderful actions
