The NFL has been hurt by poor ratings this year after fans fought back against the league. Most people were upset with the way the NFL, and the players, have handled the current “kneeling” situation that’s taking place.

The protests started last year and have carried over to this season. Some people thought they were going to go away, but it appears the protests are gaining more attention than ever.

Now, the league is revealing who is going to be performing the Super Bowl halftime show. The performance is undoubtedly one of the most watched concerts every year. It is also a coveted spot for entertainers to shine.

According to reports, Justin Timberlake will be headlining the show! Fans were super excited to learn that JT will be rocking the stage this year.

“Grammy Award-winning pop singer Justin Timberlake will headline the Super Bowl halftime show in February, 14 years after a ‘wardrobe malfunction’ overshadowed his last gig at the championship game,” the NFL said on Sunday.

According to Reuters, the Super Bowl is the most-watched event on U.S. television, drawing more than 100 million viewers. Previous halftime headliners include Lady Gaga, Coldplay, Beyonce, Katy Perry, Bruno Mars and Madonna.
