A major bombshell was tucked deep within the highly anticipated 500-page report from the Inspector General regarding the FBI’s handling of the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s illegal handling of classified information on her private server.
Besides revealing that ‘foreign actors’ accessed classified materials that were on Clinton’s server, the major emerging scandal from the report is that a high ranking FBI investigator and an FBI lawyer, who were having an affair, exchanged a series of anti-Trump text messages that border on treason.
FBI agent Peter Strzok was a key investigator on Hillary Clinton’s email server investigation as well as Robert Mueller’s investigation seeking out any potential connections between Russia and President Trump. That makes the text messages between him and FBI lawyer Lisa Page that much more damaging.
Lisa texted to Strzok: "(Trump's) not ever going to become president, right? Right?!"
Strzok responded: "No. Not he won't. We'll stop it."
If that incendiary text exchange wasn’t enough to call the handling of both investigations into question over extreme and blatant bias, it was also revealed that the text exchange was not included in the materials that the Department of Justice sent to members of Congress, which raises many red flags and questions.
The political world is rocked by these revelations. Comments are coming in fast and furious.
