A new animated film is highlighting the choices two young boys face in school. “In A Heartbeat” tells the story of a young boy who can’t control his funding heart when he sees another boy he loves.

His heart even gets so excited that it leaps out of his chest to chase after his male crush. When the boy realizes his heart is going to expose his feelings, he does everything in his power to stop it.

Finally, after the heart catches up to the crush, the young boys realize they have feelings for each other. Their classmates look at them strangely as they sit on the floor, staring at each other. It’s then that the boy decided to break his heart and run away.

As he sits outside behind a tree, with his broken heart, he gets the surprise he hoped for. His crush comes up to him and heals his heart. The two kids sit there, with pounding hearts, looking at each other with loving eyes.

The film has gone on to win numerous awards already. It has created a cult following on the internet and is praised for discussing a topic that many won’t highlight.
