Multiple Injuries Reported after Shooting at Kentucky Grocery Store, Please Send Prayers

Multiple people have been shot at a Kroger store in Jeffersontown, Kentucky, according to local media reports.

CNN reported that one person is in custody following the incident, according to the Jeffersontown police dispatcher. She declined Wednesday to provide other information, adding that officers remain on scene.

According to the Courier-Journal, shots were fired inside the store. One man, Tim King, told the reporters that his wife called him while she was shopping. She told her husband that she heard multiple shots and people began running.

Reporters on Twitter are sharing updated information. They spoke to a man who said he saw two people shooting at each other. An elderly woman got caught in the crossfire, and she died after he attempted to perform CPR.

Local news also reported that police are on the scene. It appears that at least one person has died of their injuries.
