More Bad News for Chick-fil-A for Staying True to Christian Values

Chick-fil A’s outspoken Christian beliefs are causing more bad news. According to reports, a new restaurant is no longer planned for the Buffalo Niagra International Airport.

Fox News reported that Delaware North Hospitality Management Company and the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority gave the green light on Thursday to renovation plans to bring the chicken chain to Western New York’s air hub.

The news comes after recent backlash from leftists groups regarding what they say is Chick-fil-A’s “anti-LGBTQ rhetoric” and views. This isn’t the first time that Chick-fil-A has been condemned or attacked for being a Christian organisation.

Local politicians in New York expressed their opinion about the chicken sandwich giant. Sean Ryan, Assemblyman, tweeted about the possibility of a new restaurant.

“I strongly urge the NFTA to reverse this decision,” the Democratic lawmaker wrote online. “I don’t believe the leadership of the NFTA intends to help spread hate and discrimination, but allowing a corporation like Chick-fil-A to do business at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport will help to fund continued divisive anti-LGBTQ rhetoric. New York is a welcoming state that celebrates diversity.”

Chic-fil-A was defended online by fans. Chick-fil A is proud to embrace their Christian roots. This is a great example for Christians all over the country. Chick-fil A’s spokesperson clarified their values and assured customers that they do not discriminate against any groups.

“Recent coverage about Chick-fil-A continues to drive an inaccurate narrative about our brand. We don’t have a political or sociological agenda and do not discriminate against any groups. More than 145,000 people from different backgrounds and beliefs represent the Chick-fil-A brand,” a spokesperson told WKBW. “We embrace all people, regardless of religion, race, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation or gender identity.”
