World Famous Musician Forced to Cancel US Tour Over Illness, Medical Attention

The news was just reported that one of the world’s most famous bands has to postpone their upcoming American tour. According to reports, the Rolling Stones postponed their U.S. and Canadian tour due to Mick Jagger’s illness.

BBC reported that Jagger’s doctors have advised him not to tour. They said that he needed to receive medical attention instead.

The tour was set to begin on April 20th in Miami. The tour was supposed to include 17 concerts.

75-year-old Mick Jagger apologized to his fans for the postponement.

He wrote, “I’m so sorry to all our fans in America & Canada with tickets. I really hate letting you down like this. I’m devastated for having to postpone the tour but I will be working very hard to be back on stage as soon as I can. Once again, huge apologies to everyone.”

Rolling Stone’s publicist reported that Jagger is “expected to make a complete recovery so that he can get back on stage as soon as possible.”

At the moment,  no details were given about Jagger’s illness. However, fans are hopeful for recovery as they were encouraged to hold on to their tickets for rescheduled concerts.

The band’s Facebook post said, “Unfortunately today the Rolling Stones have had to announce the postponement of their upcoming US / Canada tour dates. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes those who have tickets to shows but wish to reassure fans to hold onto these existing tickets, as they will be valid for the rescheduled dates, which will be announced shortly.”

According to TMZ, the band’s last North American tour was in 2016.  They were planning on releasing 10 live tracks.
