The Titanic is one of the most iconic ships to ever sail the seas. Sadly, many passengers perished in the cold waters of the Atlantic after the cruise ship struck an iceberg.

Hours later, rescue crews arrived on the dreadful scene. Many passengers had frozen to death in the frigid water after failing to make it on one of the lifeboats. The world was in mourning due to the extreme loss of life.

Now, over 100 years later, scientists have given us a glimpse into what the final meal might have been like while on the ship! A menu from the Titanic has just surfaced!

“It illustrates the lavish and opulent culinary delights for First Class passengers with a total of over twenty different options for dinner,” explains auction house Henry Aldridge & Son, in a statement.

It truly is amazing to see such an old piece of history like this menu. It's amazing that it could have survived all these years, especially since 1912.

"The menu, which has a pre-sale estimate of $65,351 to $78,421, will be auctioned on Saturday. Other Titanic artifacts in the sale include a poster advertising third class tariffs on the ship’s return voyage from New York to Europe and a pair of brass lifeboat plaques from the liner," reported Fox News.
