One of Queen Elizabeth‘s granddaughters, who served as a bridesmaid for Duchess Kate and Prince William, on crutches. She reportedly took a nasty spill.

Lady Louise Windsor, 14, who is the daughter of Prince Edward and Sophie, Countess of Wessex, broke her right leg while on vacation with her family. A source confirms that she suffered a skiing accident in St. Moritz in the Alps.

Lady Louise had a prominent position alongside Queen Elizabeth’s other grandchildren and great-grandchildren, which includes Prince George and Princess Charlotte, in a special portrait in 2016. She and her parents, along with her brother James, 10, had been vacationing at the Swiss resort during a half-term break from school.

A Buckingham Palace spokeswoman declined to comment.

After the injury, the family returned home to the U.K. The injury must not have been too serious. On Monday, Louise's mother attended a Buckingham Palace reception with Princess Kate to showcase a new initiative, the Commonwealth Fashion Exchange.
