Last month, Melania Trump — wife of President Donald Trump — spent several days in the hospital after undergoing kidney surgery. Our First Lady received an overwhelming amount of prayers and well wishes as she began her recovery process and transitioned back to the White House.

The public has been anxious to see Melania again since she hasn’t been spotted since returning home from the hospital on May 19th. Her last official public appearance was on May 10th, reported NBC News.

In recent days, she has been absent from several public appearances that she normally would have been expected to be at including this year’s Memorial Day event alongside President Trump. According to reports, Melania will make her first public appearance since her surgery on Monday, June 4th.

The Hill stated that the First Lady will host a reception for Gold Star families alongside her husband. The event will reportedly be closed to the press.

However, Melania’s office confirmed that she will not be attending the upcoming G7 Summit or Singapore meeting later in June. No other updates regarding Melania’s health have been released at this time, but Trump previously noted that his wife was doing well and in “good spirits.”
