Melania Trump was relatively unknown before she became the First Lady. Although she was married to Donald, she was not a household name for the entire world.

Now, Melania is an iconic image of the Trump administration. She has done a wonderful job of representing the White House, and America, on foreign trips and in interviews. She is well on her way to becoming a First Lady who history will remember forever.

She has also just decided to seal her legacy in Washington by doing something remarkable! Melania is forever changing the grounds at the White House by planting a tree that is a sampling from an oak tree called the Eisenhower oak.

"She was joined by Mary Jean Eisenhower, granddaughter of President Dwight D. Eisenhower, and Richard Emory Gatchell, Jr., a fifth-generation grandson of President James Monroe. This year marks the 200th anniversary of Monroe’s move into a rebuilt White House after the British set it ablaze during the War of 1812," reported The Washington Post.

Images of Melania planting the tree quickly went viral on social media. She looked radiant as she gave the sampling a new home for eternity.

“We’re honored to make a place here for another historical monument,” the first lady said. “It’s a very special day.”
