Earlier this month, news broke that First Lady Melania Trump had to undergo a serious kidney procedure after experiencing an issue that required medical attention. Fortunately, her medical condition was described as “benign,” meaning there was no sign of cancer or serious harm.
Melania recently released her first statement since having the surgery, revealing that she’s “feeling great.” An official update from medical staff also assured she left the hospital in “good spirits.”
Although First Lady Melania still has not been seen in a public appearance following the procedure, she is starting to gradually make her way back into the public eye. After being released from the hospital, she released another statement via social media on Memorial Day to honor our fallen soldiers.
“On Memorial Day we honor the many Americans who laid down their lives for our great country,” Mrs. Trump stated. “As one nation under God, we come together to remember that freedom isn’t free.”
“Thank you to all the service members & their families who sacrifice so much to keep us safe,” she added with gratitude.

Please continue to pray for Melania Trump as she recovers and the families of our country’s fallen heroes as they remember their loved ones today. In other White House news, Ivanka Trump is facing major backlash over a recent family photo.
