While on his campaign trail, President Trump made several promises about what he would do if elected. One of his most common statements was that he would "bring Christmas back," and many have said that he has done just that.
President Trump and First Lady Melania have placed an emphasis on the reason for the season and have made an effort to specifically use the phrase "Merry Christmas" over "Happy Holidays."
This Christmas season, President Trump and First Lady Melania were not only able to spend time together, but they were also able to bring joy to children all around the nation!
Every year, the President and First Lady participate in a fun Christmas Eve tradition. They take phone calls and help children track Santa through Norad Santa.
This year, Melania posted several beautiful photos showcasing the tradition. Additionally, she talked about how much she's grown to love it!
She wrote, "Helping children across the country track #Santa is becoming one of my favorite traditions! @POTUS and I enjoyed working with @NoradSanta- #ChristmasEve."
First Lady Melania wore a navy blue dress for the special Christmas Eve tradition. Typically, she pairs her dresses with a matching pair of heels. This time, however, she switched things up. She wore maroon-colored heels in true Christmas spirit!
