On Monday, President Trump and First Lady Melania welcomed the President of the Republic of Kenya and the First Lady of the Republic of Kenya to the White House.
While President Trump met with President Uhuru Kenyatta, Melania enjoyed an afternoon with First Lady Margaret Kneyatta. According to a White House press release, they "enjoyed an afternoon together with an open dialogue focused on their common goals and their respective initiatives on behalf of children."
Melania dressed to meet the couple in a colorful Valentino silk shirt. She paired it with a light pink shell, gold belt, and pale pink Louboutin high heels.
Later in the day, Melania also took time out of her busy schedule to plant a tree. She planted a sapling on the South Grounds of the White House, which comes from the original Eisenhower Oak located near the Kennedy Garden.
Melania clearly dressed for the earlier meeting with the President and First Lady of the Republican of Kenya. People chose to ignore that, harshly criticizing for her shoe choice.
This isn't the first time that Melania has been harassed by the media for her shoe choices. Last year, during the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey, the FLOTUS was pictured leaving for Texas wearing black high heels.
They were going to there to look at the aftermath and help out, but people focused on her shoes. They said she wasn't prepared for the weather in Texas.
Do you think the that people should attack Melania for her shoe choice? Isn't it her prerogative to wear heels? Let us know what you think in the comments. In other Melania fashion news, she absolutely glowed in black and white alongside President Trump last Friday.
