The First Family has done an incredible job to represent the United States and the best interest of all our citizens. They have been a wonderful addition to Washington and have tirelessly worked to change the culture of politics.

On Friday, the First Family boarded Air Force One to head to Alabama and tour the tornado damage. The arrived in Fort Benning in Georgia and took a short helicopter ride to Lee County, Alabama.

The region was recently struck by a massive tornado. The disaster left a huge trail of destruction throughout the area and 23 people lost their lives. One family lost 10 members, including parents, in the storm.

"The president and First Lady Melania Trump were in the air for about 30 minutes for the 44 mile trip to Auburn University Regional Airport. While in the air, the couple got an aerial look at the devastation that claimed 23 lives in southern Lee County. The couple is greeting Alabama representatives, including Gov. Kay Ivey, before taking a vehicle to the Beauregard area where they’ll tour the damage and talk with victims," reported WSFA.

Before boarding the plane, the President took a moment to comment to reporters about his son, Barron. He mentioned how tall he has gotten and the pair shared a wonderful father-son moment in front of the press. Barron may be young, but it is clear he is going to be one of the tallest members of his entire family.
