President Donald Trump is currently facing backlash from liberals over his recent tweets about radical Democratic congresswomen. In a series of Twitter posts, POTUS criticized what he called “Progressive” Democrat Congresswomen originally from other countries for “viciously telling the people of the United States...how our government is to be run.”
Because Trump insisted these congresswomen should “go back” and help fix their home countries before weighing in on America’s government, liberals deemed his tweets “racist.” Republicans disagreed. Many top conservative names (including Senator Lindsey Graham) came to the President’s defense.
“The View” co-host Meghan McCain, however, was one conservative who sided with the liberals’ viewpoint. In Monday morning’s episode of “The View,” McCain blasted Trump, Graham, and the entire Republican party for not calling out Trump’s “racism.”
“The cowardice I’m seeing — Republicans not speaking out and saying it today is embarrassing...It is deeply cowardly,” McCain fired.
“Whatever is happening to Lindsey, this is not the person I used to know,” she said later in the segment.

McCain’s latest comments against President Trump and Senator Lindsey Graham come shortly after she condemned Trump’s tweets. On her personal Twitter account, she stated, “This is racist.”
“And I see Trump people are trying to spin this to just be about Rep. Omar, but we all know that’s a lie,” McCain added. “But even if it were just about Rep. Omar, it would still be racist. We don’t tell people we’ve welcomed into this country to ‘go back.’”
