On Wednesday, December 27th, Prince Harry appeared in a radio interview with BBC, where he discussed the details of having his future wife join his family for Christmas. As previously reported, the Queen broke Royal tradition by allowing Ms. Markle over for the holidays—typically, only official members of the Royal family by blood or marriage are welcomed.
In his interview, the Prince said Christmas was “fantastic” and the Royal family “loved having her there.”
The Prince also admitted to having to explain some family traditions to his fiancee, but said she did an “amazing job.” The Royal family is a large family, and Harry noted it’s the “family [Markle] never had.”

Markle’s half-sister, Samantha Grant, apparently heard the Prince’s interview—and she was not happy about it.
She responded to a reporter on Twitter, "Actually she has a large family who were always there with her and for her. Our household was very normal and when dad and Doria divorced, we all made it so it was like she had two houses. No one was estranged, she was just too busy. Read my book complete with facts and photos.”
She continued, “Meg’s family (our family) is complete with sister, brother, aunts, uncles, cousins, and the glue of our family, our amazing self-sacrificing father. She always had this family...Marrying merely extends it.”
According to Fox News, Grant has spoken out against her half-sister in the past and the two reportedly have an estranged relationship.
Grant previously said, "Hollywood has changed her. I think her ambition is to become a princess… The truth would kill her relationship with Prince Harry."
