On Tuesday morning, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry spent some time focused on Nelson Mandela and his amazing legacy.
Mandela, the first black president of South Africa, and winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, is being honored in a London exhibit to mark the 100th anniversary of his birth, according to PEOPLE. He died in 2013 at the age of 95.
Fashionable in a sleeveless trench dress, Meghan wowed fans while her husband, Prince Harry, wore a gray suit and jacket with casual pants.
When they arrived, Harry and Meghan met Zamaswazi Dlamini-Mandela, Mandela’s granddaughter.
While they were there, the royal couple received a history lesson about Mandela, learning about his journey from a young freedom fighter, through incarceration and later his role to help end the horrible practice of apartheid.
