On Thursday evening (local time), newlyweds Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped out for an event. The couple certainly proved that they're stylish.
The new Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended a reception in London for young people from around the Commonwealth, according to People. There were groups there not only England but also Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and Tonga.
Meghan shone in a bright yellow dress by American designer Brandon Maxwell. She also sported a more refined hairdo than she wore before her marriage.
Prince Harry, who was made Youth Ambassador for the organization of 53 countries linked to the U.K. in April, took the time to speak to young people about the future they wish to see.
The mingling came after the groups had attended a series of workshops focusing on the sort of world the young leaders want to see by 2040.
This evening’s event was just another sign that Harry and Meghan will be taking leading roles in the Commonwealth organization. They carried out several Commonwealth-related engagements together in the run-up to their May 19 wedding.
