In her last engagement before the royal family goes on break, Meghan Markle looked lovely in a flowered dress. However, all eyes were on her baby bump, noted PEOPLE.
When asked how she is doing, she replied that she “very good” before adding that she's “very pregnant!”
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who tied the knot in May, are expecting their first child in the spring. Meghan was visited Brinsworth House, a residential nursing and care home for British entertainers run by the Royal Variety Charity, on Tuesday.
Meghan revealed how she's doing as she enters her third trimester while speaking with retired West End theatre actress Josephine Gordon, 87, Meghan said she was “very good.” She then paused, put her hands on her growing baby bump and added that she was feeling “very pregnant today.”
Meghan then asked Gordon if she had any children. Gordon answered, “No, I had a career.” Meghan replied, “Yes, that I understand." Which of course she does as she was a successful Hollywood actress before she gave it up to marry Prince Harry.
Meghan covered her flowered Brock Collection dress with an adorable Soia & Kyo coat. She looked especially lovely, and she certainly has that maternity glow.
While at the nursing home, Meghan was given a tour and then took part in the festive fun, including craft-making and listening to Christmas carols.
After this outing, Meghan and Harry will celebrate with Queen Elizabeth and the extended royal family at an annual lunch party at Buckingham Palace. They then will travel to Norfolk to join the other royals at Sandringham for Christmas.
