After Just Six Months, Meghan Markle's Bodyguard Calls It Quits

January 14, 2019Jan 14, 2019

After just six months on the job, Meghan Markle's female bodyguard has called it quits. The news comes just months before the Royal couple will become a family of three.

During the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's tour of Australia, Fiji, and Tonga, the blond bodyguard had to intervene after concerns about crowd management grew. The bodyguard, who has not been named for security reasons, was thrust into the public eye after jumping into action while in Fiji.

Since becoming the Duchess of Sussex, this is Meghan's third Royal aid to leave in a little over two months.

According to "The Sun," Samantha Cohen, the Royal couple's private secretary, was the first aid to leave back in November. Then in December, Melissa Touabti, Markle's personal assistant, revealed her plans to leave the Kensington Palace team after just six months.

News of the Metropolitan Police bodyguards departure comes after speculation she may be leaving the London force all-together.
