Conor McGregor is a world class fighter who made a name for himself in the UFC. However, he was recently arrested following an incident where he threw a piece of equipment through a bus window.
"People were seen in video footage attempting to restrain McGregor, with some managing to stop the bus from being hit by various missiles, including bins. McGregor and others had targeted long-time rival Khabib Nurmagomedov and a number of other UFC fighters," reported Sky News.
The incident injured numerous people on the bus and caused a lot of damage. Now, McGregor has just received some more bad news.
"Lightweight American mixed martial artist Michael Chiesa was sitting in the vehicle with Nurmagomedov and was reportedly injured in the brawl. Chiesa is suing McGregor for causing 'severe emotional distress, mental trauma and/or bodily harm.' In the court documents, he says that McGregor's actions caused 'serious personal injury and economic damages' to him," reported Sky.
Micheal was forced to withdraw from a scheduled fight just days after the incident. Time will tell as the courts look over the lawsuit and decide how much money Conor has to most likely pay the injured fighter.
