Beloved Lead Singer from the 1960s, Hall of Fame Musician Sadly Passes Away; Cause of Death Unknown

On Friday evening, heartbreaking news rocked the music world. A beloved lead singer from the 1960s and Hall of Fame musician, Marty Balin, sadly passed away at 76 years old.

Rolling Stone first reported the sad news to the public. Balin’s representative confirmed the guitarist died on Thursday in Tampa, Florida, but did not disclose any further details. The cause of death is currently unknown as of Saturday morning.

Balin was famously known for his roles in the popular bands "San Francisco Sound" and “Jefferson Airplane.” One of their most popular songs written by Balin is “Comin’ Back to Me.” Some of Balin’s other popular songs include “Miracles” and “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now.”
