On June 10, police issued an AMBER alert for a missing 2-year-old boy who was abducted in League City. Now, there's been a happy update.

The toddler, Malakhi Bankhead, was located on Monday Night. After being examined, he was in good health.

Before he disappeared, he was last seen with his parents, Katherine Ulrich, 21, and Cody Bankhead, 24. They were last seen driving a white 2015 BMW X3 with Texas license plate KSW8656.

An alert was issued after his parents failed to turn him over to CPS custody after a judge ordered them to do so last Wednesday, League City police spokesman K.R. Williamson told the Chronicle on Monday.

“We do have our efforts of going to all the addresses we can find,” she said, “talking to family and friends and then if we’ve exhausted all that, that’s when we go to law enforcement and ask for an Amber Alert.”

Ulrich and Bankhead are still under investigation by CPS. Praise God that this little boy was found safe and sound.
