Liberals have stooped to a new low to try to get voters. On Thursday, Elle Magazine sent out a false tweet claiming that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were splitting up.

The couple, who has three kids together, are very much not getting a divorce. The tweet was blatant clickbait designed to get fans of the couple to a page titled "When We All Vote."

It brings the user to a registration page, which also links to a store, volunteer, and donate page. All of these things are designed to get them to the polls to vote Democrat.

People on Twitter flamed Elle. Even liberals criticized them for stooping so low.

Elle used a less overtly false post on Instagram to attract voter registrants, captioning a photo of the couple: "OMG THIS #KIMKARDASHIAN AND #KANYEWEST NEWS!!! It's happening and you'll never guess how it all went down."

It is especially interesting that they chose to make this post about Kim and Kanye. Kanye West is an outspoken supporter of President Trump, and they chose to slander Kanye's marriage.

Neither Kim nor Kanye have commented on the fake news story yet.
