Major News for Donald Trump Concerning His Famed Hollywood Star Display

September 11, 2018Sep 11, 2018

Donald Trump has been highly criticized by many people who disagree with his political, and personal, views. A lot of people have even gone on record to advocate for violence against the Trump family.

Recently, a vandal wrecked President Trump's star on the Hollywood Walk-of-Fame. It was the second time someone has destroyed his famous star.

"Trump's star -- which he was awarded in 2007 during the height of his “Apprentice” fame -- has been defaced and vandalized numerous times since he announced his presidential run," reported Fox News.

There were rumors that the star was not going to be replaced after a vandal broke it into pieces a few months ago. However, there seems to be some good news in store for President Trump. His star is being replaced!

"President Donald Trump’s star is back on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, less than two months after a man destroyed it with a pickax. 24-year-old Austin Clay pleaded not guilty to felony vandalism for the July 25 incident," reported Fox.

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is responsible for the stars on the iconic Walk-of-Fame. They have just released a statement concerning President Trump's place on the sidewalk.

"Any star, which is vandalized or destroyed, no matter which honoree it belongs to will be replaced by the Hollywood Historic Trust, a non-profit, non-partisan group. The Hollywood Walk of Fame is a historic landmark which celebrates the professional contributions of the inductees. The stars once installed, are considered part of the historic fabric of the Walk. When people are angry with one of our honorees, we would hope that they would project their anger in more positive ways than to vandalize a California State landmark. Our democracy is based on respect for the law. People can make a real difference by voting and not destroying public property," said a statement from the CEO, Leron Gubler.
