Pictures from a couple’s wedding day are going viral. The newlyweds decided to celebrate their love with a “Make America Great Again” wedding in honor of President Donald Trump.
Nearly every detail related to Trump’s famous campaign slogan. The bride wore a MAGA dress and had her nails painted like the American flag, guests wore red MAGA hats, and every table had a petition for the “heartbeat” bill.
The bride and groom, of course, faced backlash from Democrats over their Trump-themed wedding. However, they paid the critics no mind.
“It looked like America threw up all over my wedding and I’m not sorry," bride Audra Johnson assured amidst the criticism.
The bride’s one-of-a-kind dress was designed by Andre Soriano. The Trump-supporting fashion designer is best known for creating singer Joy Villa’s iconic MAGA dress and music artist Ricky Rebel’s KAG “Keep America Great” jacket. Both designs are pictured below.
According to FOX 17, the groom’s father refused to make an appearance because of the theme. He sent a text message to the couple that said, “As long as you support that racist in the White House, I won’t be attending your wedding.”
Thankfully, political differences were not a deal breaker for all of the guests. There were others who did not support Trump, including the bride’s maid of honor and best friend, that still attended the couple’s big day.
